Believe it or not we weren’t always this big and beautiful! Actually, we were always this beautiful (the salon we mean) but Somewhere in Queens Park started as a small studio above a shop on Salusbury Road for Owner, April to bring her regulars. It started with only her and her then Assistant (now Senior Creative) Michaela, and dog Quincy.

As local demand grew, after a couple years April knew she wanted to expand, so in 2023 she took the plunge of relocating to Lonsdale road and boy did it pay off! 

Since then we have expanded to a team of 7 hairdressers with decades of experience in what they do, often booked out weeks in advance while we also hold space for our freelance specialists to offer their services such as Mens Grooming, Nails and Facials.

 

That’s our story but we wouldn’t of got here without our amazing clientele, some who have been coming to us for years, some who have found us on more recently, some from miles away and some local, but all that add to the special homely vibe we cherish here at Somewhere. Think neighbourhood salon meets high end expertise

 

We don’t stop there, we’re more than just a salon, we are a collaborative space, offering a hub to host events and workshops for a wide range of creative industries.
